Cold but Cheap

As  mentioned before, I’m surprised that Iceland isn’t at the top of everyone recommended destinations lists right now.

The Icelandic Krona is down to 190 to the pound (from 125 earlier in the year) and flights are damn cheap too – Cheap Flights has some at £162. Arctic Adventures is touting £256 for 3 nights including airfare and tax. Sure, it’s going to be a bit cold and dark, but it’s a deal that’s a bit hard to pass up. I think I’m headed up next month. Stay tuned.
